For many, work is just something we do to pay the bills. But, if we approach work the right way, God can use our efforts greatly to show God's love to those around us.

No matter what phase your family is in, you’ve discovered one thing...though the days can feel long, the years really are short. From sleepless nights to managing screen time to an empty nest, figuring out family life isn’t easy and the truth is that every phase seems to be different. However, we forget “You have less time than you think and more influence than you realize”

You may not think you are a leader, but, if you influence others, you're a leader. Unfortunately, our culture is really bad at leadership. The people in your life need a leader not a ruler, and the only real way to lead is by laying down your life in sacrifice.

No one likes to be told what to do. Maybe that’s why we struggle with the Bible’s teaching on submitting to others. But, Jesus left us an example of how to submit without being a doormat. If we follow his example of submission, it could change our families forever.

What makes a great comeback story is how hopeless a situation looks. When Jesus came back from the dead, He forever provided hope for the most hopeless of situations. While there's nothing we can do to earn God's acceptance, there's also nothing we had to do to earn it, either. Jesus already took care of it on the cross.

Don't spend your life aiming at the wrong target. Don't aim at a good target. Aim at a God target. If you're a parent, your greatest goal should be to disciple your family.

Most people go through life busy, bored, or beaten down. But, God has a purpose for your life. You weren't designed to sit on the sidelines. You were created to contribute and share God's love with others.

Most of us wait for some sort of sign to say that we are supposed to tell others about Jesus. But, the Bible tells followers of Christ to just go and look for opportunities to share about Jesus while we are going about our everyday lives. Be intentional everyday to look for a chance to tell the people in your life about God's love for them.

A life without purpose is boring, but a life with the wrong purpose is wasted. Don't waste your life. God's mission is those that are missing from His family, and that's the purpose He gives us...to go embrace people wherever they are.
