The story of Julia Thomas begins where the life of the Dutchman himself ends.
When Jacob Waltz died, he supposedly trusted the general location of the gold mine to Julia Thomas, who then spent years searching for the mine and stumbled onto some pretty promising leads.
Ultimately though, Julia would end up joining some weird religion and selling maps to the lost gold mine that she never located.
Whatever your opinion of the veracity of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine itself, you have to wonder why someone would leave behind a secure source of income and dedicate all of that time and money to finding a treasure... if they weren't entirely sure of its reality.

We are not going to lie, there isn't a ton of substance here. We kick around our best (partial) solves so far. We share the results of the survey. We finalize our bets and our punishments if we are wrong. Chad gargles some jelly beans. Things get weird. Friday can't come soon enough...
In this episode we discuss and dissect the remainder of the poem. Caden Photon and Brad Zollinger make some really good contributions. We take questions from our listeners and do a below average job at answering them.
Also, if you are curious, this episode will be released tomorrow.
