It's CNA week and we're hugging nurses. In a very fun way. Seriously though we want to start off the show by thanking all our nurses for everything they do.
Caddy and Donna Jack don't tear up too much, though, before spinning the old track. And by that we mean talking sweaty pits and chafing.
We also touch on the Titanic submersible and Tug's tickle pickle. Well, we wish on that last one. Don't you? 7704646024.
Donna doesn't have time for that. Shopping, that is. So she's been getting a lot of Amazon packages. Some of them went to her neighbor and it gave Caddy the opportunity to find out what her name is.
Happy belated Father's Day! We get into Caddy's big Father's Day dinner and…Donna's driving habits. We may have avoided a disaster and Charlotte is scarred for life.
Juneteenth. Caddy has jokes.
Is your spouse a bad driver? Or is it just Donna? Let us know. Text or call 770-464-6024.
Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast! On today's show, we remeneiss about birthdays of old as Caddy hits the big 5-0.
But first, everyone is in Italy! It seems like everyone and their brother has been to Italy this year. It's the new 30A. Maybe it's the post-pandemic mentality, but everyone seems to be traveling internationally, and specifically the Italian peninsula.
Next up, we recap a little bit of Caddy's big birthday dinner at Bones in Atlanta. If you've never been there…it's expensive. Like $800 expensive. Caddy would not recommend the wagyu steak.
It got us to thinking though: If you could recreate a birthday party from the past, what would it be? This is actually a thing now. People go through old video or pictures and recreate birthdays from when they were 10, 20, 30 years old. It's a big trend on – you guessed it – TikTok.
What birthday of yours would you love to recreate and why? Text or call 770-464-6024 and let us know.
It's a great day to be alive here on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. To celebrate that fact, Donna and Caddy raise the roof. Or at least break the ceiling. Set the glass floor? Something like that.
We were all seperated last week for Caddy's birthday, so the first part of the show is us getting back up to speed. The problem is at this point in life remembering the days can get kind of… hazy. Try and stick with us. If you get lost, hop on the nearest tollroad and let us know. 7704646024.
Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast! Larry the Cable Guy joins to play Can't Beat Caddy.
But first, Donna is feeling a little sore. She says…it may have something to do with not taking home that little pink slip. You know, the one that little kids take home that tells their parents that they'd tested positive for scoliosis. Well, Donna threw hers away.
When you get a call from Rick Ross to join him at his VIP pool party after his VIP car show, you go. And that's exactly what Caddy did. His phone "died" at the event though, so there is no photo evidence of…anything.
Larry the Cable Guy joins the pod! He takes on Caddy in Can't Beat Caddy and it's a real nail biter. Stick around until the end to find out who won.
Who are you hanging out with at the VIP party? Rick Ross or Gucci Mane? We know our answer. What's yours? Text or call 770-464-6024.
This show originally had seven minutes of dead air. We made an executive decision to cut that space, in light of a lively drink. Lord knows we need it.
Donna and Cadillac Jack dig up some old tough memories as they get ready to celebrate Wil's birthday. The Jacks would - and have - done anything for the guy and fought to make it happen. If you've been following along, you know that means Caddy's Big Day is coming up too. Let me cry, love and leave this with you now: it's a big one. Can someone say "a low meter for bull?"
We also talk AI and preview the Show from the Road next week at North Carolina State University. Stay tuned.
Do you know the word we're trying to think of? It's not discharge. Let us know. 7704646024.
Welcome to the Cadillac Jack – My Second Act podcast. On the show today Donna tries to sell furniture on Facebook Marketplace and…it doesn't go well.
But first, Donna and the girls went to see Ed Sheeran in concert where he set the attendance record at Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta. Yes, he beat Taylor Swift somehow. Unfortunately for Donna, she ran into a little bit of trouble with the police on the way back to Milton, but don't worry, she had the last laugh.
So, Donna has never tried to sell anything on Facebook Marketplace before, but she also had an old China cabinet she needed to get rid of, so why not? She listed the furniture at the unbelievable price of $50 and prepared to take bidders. Well, she got bidders. Just no buyers.
Had a similar experience trying to sell junk? Let us know. Call or text 770-464-6024.
Welcome to flight school on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act. Lets take off.
We're about to step next door to grab a pizza and talk about our proudest moments from school. Cadillac and Donna Jack get a few minutes into the stories before the sirens arrive. We just have one question - is he dead or alive?
Couple show and radio notes to clear up as well. The parking lot party was this weekend, Caddy books Donna for an event to get her back from the mattresses and we reminisce on some remotes with Rhubarb.
The Jacks also offer some life updates and both get a little teary-eyed doing so. Take a listen, but do it with some spunk. Then call us and we'll ball together. 7704646024.
It's getting hot over here on The Cadillac Jack My Second Act podcast. The weather. The weather is getting hot.
Donna talks about her experience as a mom during summertime and the onslaught of boredom all you moms out there are about to be challenged with…from your kids. We all have big plans for the summer that just never end up panning out. Just go with it.
Apparently, Americans are getting pretty high at work. Like, to record highs. Pun intended. What gives? Was it the pandemic? Changes to state laws? Public perception? We don't know, but we'd encourage you to take up a job in creative circles if you choose to partake.
How could the Weinermobile be called anything else? Well, apparently it can, as Oscar Meyer has announced that going forward it will be called the Frank Mobile. That's…dumb.
Thank you to everyone we saw at the Red, White and Blue Parking Lot Party at Gallery Furniture! It was so good to see and catch up with so many of you and we hope you keep in touch throughout the year.
Have any recommendations for the Hype Song Playlist? Text or call 770-464-6024.
Donna, Cadillac Jack and I (er, is it me?) bring the heat and the brine for this episode of My Second Act.
After months of hunting, one Jack has gotten their pickle. Donna found a partner for pickleball and they're headed to the kitchen. She fills in Caddy on the rules and previews her new teammate for the beginning of this show.
We touch on some music news before getting to the good stuff. Cadillac Jack also wants you to reach out. We are all going through different struggles and you would be surprised about how much overlap there can be with others. Well, we want to talk to you about it. Text or call 7704646024. (You can also text Caddy's third private cell, but you'll have to listen to hear that one.)
