"O peso do Eco" reveals a mind devastated by depression, afraid of a chance to get rid of its own darkness. Confused by isolation and morbid apathy, this mind turns back to drown in its obscure memories, raving in despair. It questions its salvation more and more, overwhelmed by fear. However it is through friendship, of trusting someone else, that this mind endures and is released from the horrors of the past.
