  • Final Weeks: Who Lifts & Who Slips (Episode #49)

Vos & Mottsare back from Italy with stories to tell and plenty of calcio to cover. From stadium tours in Milan and Turin to catching a Juve match live, it was a trip packed with unforgettable moments. Lake Como offered serenity — but back in Serie A, the chaos is just beginning.

Inter booked their spot in the Champions League Final after a wild two-legged showdown with Barcelona and now face PSG in Munich. But domestically, Inzaghi’s side have faltered — crashing out of the Coppa Italia and likely losing the league. Is this the end of the road for him if they don’t bring home European glory?

Speaking of finals, the Coppa Italia is set: AC Milan will face Bologna in Rome. While Milan chase silverware to salvage their season, Italiiano's Bologna are looking for a statement on the biggest stage. But if Bologna fall short in both the cup and top-four race… is the season still a success?

In the league, Napoli hold a narrow 3-point lead at the top with three matches to go. Conte’s tactical flexibility has been the difference — Motts makes the case for why this version of Conte might be his most impressive yet.

Down the table, it’s a dogfight for European spots with Juventus, Roma, Lazio, Bologna, Fiorentina, and Milan all neck-and-neck. Roma look red hot, Lazio face a brutal run-in, and Juve… well, still look like Juve. Meanwhile, Monza are officially down, and Venezia, Empoli, and Lecce are in a desperate scrap to avoid joining them.

  • Inter Steady, Milan Fly, and Fiorentina Fizzle (Episode #48)

Vos, Motts, and Logs return to unpack a wild Match Week 32, headlined by a tense 1-1 draw in the Derby della Capitale. Roma couldn’t capitalize on their chances, while Lazio showed signs of life but lacked a cutting edge. With both clubs clinging to European hopes, it was a result that leaves more questions than answers.

Milan turned heads with a dominant 4-0 win over Udinese, finally unlocking their potential in a fluid 3-4-3 that looked sharp from back to front. Meanwhile, Inter continued their steady march toward the title with a composed 3-1 win over Cagliari, while Napoli quietly took care of Empoli in a convincing 3-0 result.

Atalanta handed Bologna a rare defeat, but it was a rock fight outside of the two goals. Despite the loss, Bologna and Milan are now perfectly level on goal difference, goals scored, and goals conceded — a true tale of two cities. Elsewhere, Juve edged Lecce, Como snuck past Torino (with a very animated Cesc on the touchline), and Venezia handled business at home once again.

In Europe, Inter best Bayern in the Champions League first leg, Lazio suffered a rough showing against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, and Fiorentina barely scraped by Celje in the Conference League. The first leg of the Coppa Italia derby ended 1-1, but Bologna look to already have a spot in the final.

The crew also previews a massive Match Week 33 slate, with top-four and relegation implications everywhere you look.

  • Draws, Drama, and Derbies (Episode #47)

Vos, Motts, and Logs are back to break down all the action from Match Week 31, where Roma and Juve shared the points in a tense 1-1 draw that didn’t do much to help either side in the standings. Juve looked flat, and Roma couldn’t take full advantage at home.

Milan and Fiorentina delivered a wild 2-2 draw at San Siro, with both teams showing moments of quality but ultimately dropping points in a tight European race. In other news, Napoli and Inter were both held to draws by Bologna and Parma, while Lazio picked up a gritty 1-0 win over Atalanta.

Elsewhere, Genoa continued their push with a solid 1-0 win over Udinese, Monza handled Como 3-1, and Venezia and Lecce played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Cagliari and Empoli couldn’t break the deadlock, while Verona and Torino settled for a point each.

We also preview a stacked Match Week 32 slate, featuring Roma vs Lazio in the Derby della Capitale, plus big fixtures like Bologna vs Atalanta and Milan vs Udinese. And as always, we wrap things up with the CULPI picks!

  • Juventus Humiliated, Bologna Rising, and Italy's Next Test (Episode #46)

Vos, Motts, and Logs are back to break down all the action from Match Week 29, where Inter took care of business with a solid 2-0 win over Atalanta. Gasperini’s side played right into Inter’s strengths. Bastoni was a rock at the back, but Dumfries’ injury could be a concern moving forward.

Fiorentina shocked everyone with a 3-0 dismantling of Juventus after switching to a back three, allowing their wingbacks to run wild. Mandragora, Fagioli, and Cataldi provided perfect balance in the midfield, while Gudmundson continues to prove he might be the among the best finisher in the league. Bologna absolutely embarrassed Lazio 5-0, pressing them off the pitch and once again showing that they’re more than just a surprise package.

Milan edged Como 2-1, but the newly promoted side gave them a real fight. Reijnders was a bright spot, and Nico Paz is showing why there’s so much hype around him. Roma scraped past Cagliari 1-0, but losing Dybala to injury could be a huge blow for their top-four hopes. Elsewhere, Genoa picked up a 2-1 win over Lecce, Verona grabbed a crucial 1-0 victory over Udinese, and Monza and Parma played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw.

The crew also looks ahead to Italy’s upcoming Nations League quarterfinal against Germany, with the first leg at San Siro on March 20th and the return leg at Signal Iduna Park on March 23rd. We break down the squad list, highlighting key omissions like Di Gregorio, Fagioli, and Chiesa.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a Calcio Culture episode without a little betting action. Can we hit big? Tune in to find out, and don’t forget to follow @calcioculturefc on X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube!

  • Scudetto Chase: The Battle Continues (Episode #45)

Vos, Motts, and Logs are back to break down a chaotic week in Serie A, headlined by Atalanta’s stunning 4-0 demolition of Juventus in Turin. It was an embarrassing display from Juventus, who looked completely lost with no clear tactics or shape. With players out of position and no identity on the pitch, serious questions are being asked about Thiago Motta’s ability to lead this team forward. On the other hand, Gian Piero Gasperini put on a masterclass, proving once again why Atalanta remain one of the most well-coached sides in the league.

Milan may have beaten Lecce, but the performance left a lot to be desired. Vos believes it was their worst showing of the season, and Logs takes the opportunity to publicly apologize to Stefano Pioli for doubting him. Despite the win, there are still major concerns. Pulisic came up big in a clutch moment, but Rafael Leão’s decision-making in the final third continues to frustrate.

Napoli took care of business against Fiorentina, but the bigger story might be how little resistance the Viola put up. Meanwhile, Inter’s 3-2 win over Monza was another example of their impressive squad depth. Even with some key players underperforming, Arnautovic stepped up when needed, showing the value of a deep bench.

Roma managed to grind out a 1-0 win over Empoli, but it wasn’t without its moments of frustration. Some shocking misses from Pellegrini and Shomurodov could have been costly, but a great finish from Soule masked those mistakes. The good news for Roma is that they continue to pick up points while rotating key players, and Ndicka’s quiet consistency at the back has been a major factor.

With Serie A action heating up, European competitions take center stage as Italian clubs prepare for decisive second legs. Inter head into their return match against Feyenoord with a 2-0 aggregate lead, looking to finish the job and advance in the Champions League. In the Europa League, Roma hold a slim 2-1 advantage over Athletic Bilbao, while Lazio take a 2-1 lead into their second leg against Viktoria Plzeň, knowing there’s still work to be done. Fiorentina, meanwhile, face an uphill battle in the Conference League after a 3-2 first-leg loss to Panathinaikos, needing a strong performance to keep their European hopes alive.

Looking ahead, Matchweek 29 is set to deliver more drama, and the crew locks in their latest Culpi di Luna picks. Can they bounce back after a tough stretch? Tune in for all the latest from the world of Calcio, and be sure to follow @calcioculturefc on X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Milan Struggles, Bologna Rise & Napoli Frustrate Inter (Episode #44)

Vos, Motts, and Logs are back to break down a chaotic week in Serie A.

Inter and Napoli share the points in a 1-1 draw, but who really benefits? Napoli looked the most aggressive they’ve been all season, but wins continue to evade them. Meanwhile, Milan’s slump deepens with back-to-back losses against Bologna and Lazio—what’s behind this sudden collapse? Elsewhere, Fiorentina grind out a result without their top attackers, Atalanta somehow fail to score despite endless chances, and Torino quietly gain steam. Plus, we check in on Juventus, who keep stacking wins, and discuss Como’s entertaining style despite their struggles.

On the European stage, Inter face Feyenoord in the Champions League, while Roma, Lazio, and Fiorentina prepare for tough matchups in the Europa and Conference League. Can they keep Italy’s continental hopes alive?

Vos and Motts are back with another episode of Calcio Culture, breaking down a huge shift in the Serie A title race. Inter takes the top spot after another solid performance, while their closest challengers struggle to keep pace. Can anyone stop the Nerazzurri from running away with the Scudetto?

In European action, Juventus crashes out against PSV, while Roma moves on thanks to a masterclass from Dybala. With Inter, Roma, Lazio, and Fiorentina still fighting in Europe, we look at their chances heading into the next round.

Matchday 26 delivered plenty of talking points—Roma dominate Monza under Ranieri, Como stuns Napoli, and Milan’s inconsistency continues after a tough loss to Torino. Elsewhere, Venezia impress against Lazio, Atalanta put five past Empoli, and Parma finds life under a new manager.

In the battle for European spots, Juventus is starting to click as Thiago Motta pieces things together, while Lazio and Fiorentina jostle for position. Milan, on the other hand, continues to be unpredictable. With a crucial matchup against Bologna looming, the pressure is on. Roma, meanwhile, is quietly surging—undefeated in the league since mid-December and looking dangerous.

At the bottom of the table, the relegation fight is in full swing. Monza sits in last, while Parma, Lecce, Verona, and Empoli are battling to stay alive. Como and Cagliari are trying to pull away, but no one is safe yet.

Milan and Atalanta crash out of the Champions League, Juventus is a step away from advancing, and Roma faces a decisive second leg against Porto after a tight 1-1 first-leg draw.
