I was able to catch up with Assemblyman Kevin Kiley after his rally in San Diego and chat with him about his campaign.
Bit shorter of an episode because of time constraints but still informative as to his goals and platform.
On this episode I sit down and chat with Sharon McKeeman, Founder of the Let Them Breathe.
We discuss her motivation for starting the organization along with its purpose to help over turn mask mandates for children in California whether it be in school or any other activity.
Also we chat about the lawsuit they have filed against the state for a quality education.
Listen and learn more how you can get involved with the organization.

Every Wednesday at 9am on Instagram Live, I host a segment called "Coffee and California Politics" where followers can engage in discussion and submit topics they want to discuss about California Politics.
This week we discussed Kevin Kiley's entrance into the race and how that may actually benefit the recall chances of passing.
Other discussions involve more information on the California Constitution and how we as voters neglect to look to the California Constitution for more rights than are often denied of us by our government.
On this episode I sit down and chat with Tamika Hamilton who is a Republican who is running for California's Third Congressional District. She ran in 2020 and came very close to unseating the Democrat incumbent in a race that no one expected to be as close as it was.
We discuss her reasons for running as well as the lessons she has learned as a Republican making in roads in California.
To read more about Tamika as well as support her race, go to www.votetamika.org.

This week's topics:
- Contrarian points of view in history, will ours be wiped away 40 years from now?
- China and It's Impact on California
- Steve Lodge for Governor
- Recall Shenanigans with the Democrats speeding up the timeline
On this podcast I have Jason Szeftel of the China Unraveled podcast to discuss China and its impact on California's economy and political landscape.
There was a lot to unpack and we did our best to get it all in in just 50 minutes, but it was a fascinating discussion to learn more about China's history and political makeup.
In the first ever audio version of Coffee and California Politics, we discuss the feud between Kim Klacik and Candace Owens. I discuss why I think Kim should have taken the L for her huge loss in Baltimore and worked to fix the issues of the inner cities before taking a victory lap.
Also we discuss some other California topics such as drought issues, recall fraud, and welcome any new listeners.
If you are not familiar with "Coffee and California Politics" it is a weekly IG Live where we sit and chat about the topics listeners want to discuss. You can catch it live by following me on IG @californiaunderground. But if you miss it there will always be an audio podcast to go along with it from here on out.
On this episode I chat with Aly and Amy of Reopen San Diego, an organization dedicated to applying pressure to local public officials to reopen the state fully.
We discuss their start to the organization, what they have been working on, and whether or not California is truly "open" after this past week.
To get involved and learn more about their organization go to www.reopensd.org to find out more about their events and sign up for email notifications.
