In today's episode we wanted to do something special because 1 year ago we started our podcast. Both of us have prepared a little Stand Up for you. We've attended a Comedy Show of Sheng Wang which was phenomenal. That made us both prepare a little show that we hope you enjoy.

We are also in Seattle right now and spending Thanksgiving with Gena's family. Will keep you updated

Have a great time with your family and friends

We are back again. Listen in if you want to hear about our confrontation with Noodleman in Maui. We are also celebrating the end of a stressful journey for us. We are back!!! Gena has started an additional job on the side and Richie has gotten the best surprise ever in his life. It has been busy the previous time but let's talk about what has happened and why eyeballing is Richie's strength.

I know it might sound repetative but I need to get rid of the scenarios i experience during my day as a barista. There is definitely a high amount of awkwardness in the room and I'm still trying to find out if it is me or if it is me still trying to adapt to the american culture. What I can definitely tell is, that I'm having a hard time with it sometimes. Just me lost in the sauce.

But living in the new neighborhood is getting better and better as we are slowly making friends, even forgot to tell ya'll a small encounter with a german lady who lives here for most of her lifetime. Just always good meeting germans.

Next time Gena will be back on the episode no.35

Have a great time

After a few weeks of living at the new place, we've experienced a few encounters with the neighbors but also thinking back about neighbor experiences that were a bit extreme.

Gena is bingewatching almost every korean series that crosses her way rn and there is one to recommend which is called "better late than single".

When was your last awkward moment? Since living in the U.S., Richie definitely experiences a lot of them and he still hasn't really found a way out of it. Gena is back at work and her skin is shining after focusing only on skin recovery over the last 3 months.

BIG NEWS: Richie has received his travel permit that allows him to travel back to Germany. Also he had a job interview that he wants to talk about more in 2 weeks. Stay tuned

We just got back from a trip to visit Gena’s family in Washington. After a week of spending lots of time in nature and floating down the river we moved into our new home. The more we live together, the more we see the differences of how we grew up and what the advantages are.

Dear listeners, Calikraut has their first guest on the show. Olivia Li Tran from the podcast “deutschincalifornia”. 4 years ago she moved from Berlin to Los Angeles and lives here with her family. As someone who also has a german background and immigrated to the US we talk about her experience at an American high school, german habits, her podcast and more.

Thank you for listening.
