In the book, Chip Conley points out that Knowledge is in your phone, but Wisdom is in your gut. “Knowledge is objective, neutral, and emotionless, but wisdom has a heart.” (Chapter 6). Tim and Mary talk about how to share our wisdom, develop our intuition, and understand how our life story serves us. Whether it's puzzles, reading, taking courses, or having great conversations, we need to stay engaged with the world. (39:37)

We have better control of our emotions, with less mood swings, as we get older. This is because we have more compassion and are less emotionally reactive. We’ve been there, done that, got the t-shirt, have perspective. How nice to not take things too personally and understand the value of our relationships. We can worry less about what people think and decide to spend time with the people and activities that bring us joy.
