As we think about “Memory”, the ability to remember things is part of what God created us with. Scripture describes the concept of remembering things and mentions many examples of using memories that are cited in His word.

To affirm that the Lord is my Shepherd is not just a statement regarding his guidance in my life. He meets all my needs as He leads me into “green pastures”. When I am tired and weak due to things of this life, He restores my soul.  As THE "Good Shepherd", He meets ALL the needs for the sheep of His pasture.

What do you praise God for? As you start listing off reasons that you praise God, it could likely be a very long list, maybe limited only by how much time you have. I have made a short list,  My personal “Top Ten Reasons To Praise God”.

A new day and a new year lie ahead. Each heartbeat, every breath and the days before us are a gift from God, that we should be good stewards of. Most of us would agree that it is important and valuable to set priorities and goals, New Year’s Resolutions for this coming year.

Most of us remember when a very popular question circulated through the Christian community: “What Would Jesus Do?” Also expressed by the acronym “WWJD”. Let’s think about this for a moment. What would Jesus say as He completed the sentence: Christmas is…?

If you are going through times of discouragement and discomfort then you are not alone. God’s word has the answers and His Spirit will give you comfort when you need it.

In the context of us hearing and doing the word, we are provided with life changing and important instructions. We are to be quick to listen, careful to speak and slow to anger.

Today is a celebration of worship and praise! Throughout scripture we are told to worship God, King of Kings and LORD of lords. And to praise Him with our whole heart, endless praise.

Folks, I encourage you to thank God today for all those things that are “Certain”. There is a long list of things we are thankful for but that are uncertain, not guaranteed to last.

Some of you may remember a song popular back in the late 80s called “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”. That song may seem simplistic and a little trite but does remind us of some basic biblical concept and promises of God. Don’t worry about anything but pray. God will give you His true peace so that you can experience real joy and happiness.
