  • Utah Jazz vs Philadelphia 76ers Postgame Analysis

The Utah Jazz went down early to the Philadelphia 76er’s tonight in the first quarter, but that did not last long. Jordan Clarkson led the team with a career-high 40 points, 19 of those coming in the first half to help the Jazz take a lead of 6 points to the half. If his performance was not impressive enough, he tied the Jazz franchise record with a total of 8 made three-pointers.

Donovan Mitchell (24) and Joe Ingles (20) both did their part to help the Jazz have one of their better offensive nights of the year. After struggling from behind the arc the last few games, Utah went 18-45 for 40 percent, compared to Philadelphia’s 8-23 shooting.

Ben Simmons led the game with 42 points, showing why he is an all-star, but 19 of those came in the first quarter, and the Jazz defense slowed him down the rest of the game. Tobias Harris was also on fire, scoring 36 on 3-5 from three. In the end, Utah’s 6 players in double digits were too much for the 4 players in double digits for Philadelphia to handle.

  • Utah Jazz vs Miami Heat Postgame Analysis (2-13-21)

Donovan Mitchell led the Utah Jazz to what ended up being a dominant win over the Miami Heat with a game-high 26 points.

While the Jazz had what can only be described as an abysmal start, quickly going down by 9 points in the first quarter. They got back into the game with their solid defense (and just bad offense from the Heat) and were able to take a 5-point lead to the half.

Utah came out on fire to start the third, holding Miami scoreless for the first 6 minutes of the second half while putting up 16 points over the same span. That would be their largest lead of the night, and while Miami kept on fighting, they never got it back to single digits.

The Jazz frankly had a terrible night from three-point range, shooting 26 percent, but they were able to take advantage of the Heat’s inability to guard the interior and shot 46 percent from the field overall. They also struggled with 17 turnovers, but a win is a win, especially on the second half of a back to back.

  • What Regular Season Awards Will The Jazz Take Home? (MVP, DPOY, 6MOY, COTY)

The Jazz have been red hot recently, but up until recently a lot of people thought that the Jazz players (and coach) had a great chance of bringing home any hardware with the exception of Jordan Clarkson being an early front runner for the sixth man of the year award.   Join us for this episode where we discuss what awards the Jazz have a good shot at bringing home as well as who we think the most valuable player is for the Jazz. Towards the end of the episode, we talk about how the Jazz match up against the Lakers. The Utah Jazz might actually match up better against the Lakers than a lot of people think. Anthony Davis is only shooting 30% from three this year and with Gobert protecting the paint Lebron will be forced to score from the perimeter. Also, we have our doubts as to if the Lakers will be able to stop the Jazz from three.   We've been getting a lot of questions about the end of the year awards in our live streams and here is what most people have been saying:

    Most valuable player: Donovan Mitchell

Coach of the year: Quin Snyder

Defensive player of the year: Rudy Gobert

Sixth man of the year: Jordan Clarkson

  • Utah Jazz vs Boston Celtics Postgame Analysis

No Conley, no problem. The Utah Jazz send the Boston Celtics packing with a 122-108 victory. Donovan put up a season-high 36 points along with dishing out 9 assists. Gobert put up an18 and 12 double-double. Most importantly, the Jazz move to 20-5, their best start in franchise history.

Boston got off to a hot start from three in the first quarter, hitting seven of thier first eight. Offensive boards and toughness kept the Jazz in it, going into the second quarter only down three.

The offense slowed down in the second quarter and the Jazz fought hard to take a one point lead to the half.

The Jazz put their foot on the gas in the second half of a free throw heavy third quarter, extending their lead to double digits and taking it to the fourth.

The Celtics however, would not be forgotten. They continued to push, cutting the Jazz lead down to 4. Donovan and Rudy would have none of it, both hitting multiple crucial threes and dunks in the final two minutes to put the game away.

  • Utah Jazz at Indiana Pacers Postgame Analysis

Donovan Mitchell led the Utah Jazz to their third win on the road in four days with a near triple-double performance. Mitchell led the game with 27 points while dishing out a career-high 11 assists. He was one rebound away from his first career triple-double.

The Jazz had to beat a solid Pacers team on limited rest, as well as being short Mike Conley. While both teams shooting percentages were near-identical, the Jazz edged out the Pacers with five more three-pointers, which was the big difference in the matchup.

  • Why The Utah Jazz Are Finals Contenders

The Utah Jazz have the best record in the NBA but people still don't think they have a legit shot a championship this year. In this episode, we go over some of the excuses people are making for why they don't think the Jazz will win and we counter them. We talk about if it's possible to win a championship in the NBA without a top ten player on your team (the Spurs did it in 2014). We also address comparisons between the Utah Jazz and the 2015 Atlanta Hawks. Long story short this Jazz team is playing like they're a contender this year and Quin Snyder is probably going to win the coach of the year award if this keeps up. #UtahJazz #TakeNote #JazzNation #GoJazz

  • Jazz at Nuggets Postgame Analysis (1-31-21)

The Utah Jazz win streak comes to an end as the Nuggets shot an outstanding 64.3% from three and MVP candidate Nikola Jokic scored 47.  Donovan struggled in his first game back since he exited concussion protocol, only scoring 13 points. The one upside for the Jazz in this game is that Bogey was brilliant, scoring 29 points on 8-13 from the field, and 8-10 shooting from the line.
