  • Utah Jazz vs Indiana Pacers Post Game Review (11/11/2021)

Tough loss for the Jazz as they lose their first home game of the season 111-100 to the Indiana Pacers. Donovan Mitchell had a great night with 26 points and 0 turnovers and Rudy Gobert made an impact on the box score but looked a little hesitant at times on the defensive end.   The Jazz have lost two of the last three games so hopefully, they can go on a winning streak soon. #UtahJazz #Pacers #CalledBank

  • Utah Jazz at Orlando Magic Postgame Analysis (11-7-2021)

The Utah Jazz failed to win against the Orlando Magic, a young team with some promising talent, but also a bottom-of-the-barrel eastern conference opponent. The Magic jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter, at one point outscoring the Jazz by 15, before the Jazz bounced back in the second to take a lead to the break.

Utah continued their dominance in the third, taking a 10 point lead to the fourth, but it was not enough as Orlando fought back to take the lead. Down by 2 with less than thirty seconds left, the Jazz played locked down defense only for R.J. Hampton to ice the game with an end of shot-clock three after collecting a loose ball.

Utah will head back home for a five-game homestand after changing venue for each of their first 10 games, starting with a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

  • Utah Jazz at Miami Heat Postgame Analysis (11-7-2021)

Donovan Mitchell’s 37 points in his comeback game were not enough as the Utah Jazz fall just short against the Miami Heat, losing 115 to 118. The final score makes the game appear closer than it was, as the Jazz had to rally back from down 19 points in the fourth quarter, and while they did have a chance to send it to overtime at the end of regulation, the Heat dominated the game from start to finish.

Tyler Hero lead the Heat in scoring with 29 points off the bench, followed by Jimmy Butler with 27. Kyle Lowry did more than just put up 20 points in the win, as he became the fourth oldest player in NBA history to notch a triple-double.

In the end, the versatile offensive attack of Miami and the most difficult switching defense the Jazz have played all season was just too much for Utah, and while Donovan overall had a very efficient game, the one part that he came up short in was he 4-15 shooting from three. The Jazz will look to bounce back tomorrow in Orlando against the 2-8 Magic.

  • Donovan Mitchell's Injured: Are the Jazz in Trouble?

The Utah Jazz are dominating the league with a seven and one record, tied with the Golden State Warriors atop the Western Conference. The Jazz entered a period of uncertainty when Donovan Mitchell sat out the game against the Atlanta Hawks with a sprained ankle. While Utah pulled out a win with Jordan Clarkson breaking out of his slump in the second half, there are still concerns as the Jazz prepare to take on the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic over the weekend.

  • Utah Jazz at Atlanta Hawks Postgame Analysis (11-4-21)

The Utah Jazz beat the Atlanta Hawks in the Hawks second game in two days. Jordan Clarkson broke out of his shooting slump in the third quarter, leading the Utah Jazz back to take a dominant lead in the fourth quarter. The Jazz were without Donovan Mitchell (ankle sprain) for the first time this season, and struggled for the first three quarters, only taking a one-point lead to the fourth quarter. The Jazz finally shot more than forty percent from three this year, many of them falling in the fourth quarter. Most notably, the Jazz only had fourteen turnovers, ten of them in the first half, compared to thirty assists. Mike Conley led the Jazz with eleven assists, as the Jazz assisted on just under seventy-five percent of their field goals.

  • Rudy Gobert For 2022 NBA MVP

Rudy Gobert through the first 4 games has been dominant averaging 18 points and 18 rebounds. And that is enough for basketball reference to put Rudy Gobert as number one on their MVP favorites list giving him a 47% chance to win the award. It would be a surprise to see Gobert remain atop that list but we'll take the small wins.

Speaking of small wins that Jazz are the last remaining team in the NBA that is undefeated. But can they hold onto that undefeated record through this weekend? #RudyGobert #UtahJazz #MVP #CalledBank #CalledBankSports
