In this episode I discuss the relationship between Christianity and cussing/swearing/'bad" words (whatever you would like to call them) with guest Allan Rudy-Froese. Allan teaches preaching, biblical storytelling, and performance theory. He is working on a book about swearing and faith. 

Can you be a "good" Christian and still swear like a sailor? What are the origins of cuss words? What is the line between expressing yourself and offensive language?

Ted's Famous Green Smoothie Recipe: 

Banana: 1
Orange: 1
Water: Up to a line in the Vitamix. (I don't know the amount, just up to a line. It's not an official line of measurement, it is a line)
Grapes:  a bunch. Not sure of the official measurement, just a bunch.
Frozen Strawberries: Handful. Again, see Grapes for an explanation of the amount.
NOTE: A handful is slightly different than a bunch. 
Raw Almonds: A little less than a handful. If I was pressured to say the exact amount, I would go with 14.
Spinach: Lots of Spinach, tons, bunches, handfuls. 
Process: Add water and grapes, plus first round of spinach--stuff the vitamix full, blend briefly to chop of spinach. Fill the vitamix again with spinach, repeat the blending. Add the rest of the fruit.  
This makes about 2 quarts.  I drink one and freeze the other.
