Chris is joined this week by college hockey writer Brad Schlossman while Cam is on assignment in Sweden. Peters and Schlossman reacted to the breaking news that Dave Hakstol was named the new head coach at Arizona State and other major topics in U.S. college hockey.

We're getting closer and closer to real hockey once again, but the 2026-27 hockey season is going to be unlike any other. This is the second year of CHL players being eligible to play college hockey and it has caused a dramatic shift in the way both junior and college will look.
