A New South Wales town in the midst of the Murray-Darling Basin catchment area is pleading for action to solve its water quality issues.

Nationals Leader Matt Canavan and Shadow Water Minister Michael McCormack have attended a roundtable meeting in Narrandera.

Rural Reporter Brady Evans spoke with state member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke to discuss the problems the town is facing.
