Someone said that in order to understand the resurrection, you have to go by the grave. So many have become confused about the resurrection. The world has always called it Easter. They have associated it with bunny rabbits and dyed eggs. Like all other good holidays, they have turned it into a money making venue and secular event. But for those of us who are born again and who call ourselves Christians, we must not be drawn into their practice. Jesus Christ is alive, we celebrate His resurrection today.

Similar to physical sight, there is a need for clear spiritual vision. This is only possible through the eyes of faith. Faith is the material of the things we hope for and the proof of what we cannot physically see. The absence of faith makes it impossible to see God. God has provided His divine word to help improve our faith (spiritual vision). God’s word is the one true way to ensure that we view life the way He views life. As our faith increases, our vision improves. The better our vision, the more we gain an accurate view on life. My hope and prayer is that God will illuminate His word and enable us to see life from His perspective.

The world appears to be on a slippery slope of discontentment. This snowball seems to be rolling and picking up speed faster and faster. And not only is it affecting the people in the world, but it is also wreaking havoc in the church. People and homes are filled with things, but they are empty spiritually.

When we are used to the old ways of doing things, it's not easy to change to something new. Jesus said that no man when he has drunk old wine for so long straightway accepts the new, because the old still tastes better.
