The New Birth was to be composed of both water from below and the Holy Spirit from above. Every man must have both. One from heaven the other from earth. One of his body, the other of his soul. Without the first he cannot see nor enjoy this present life; and without the latter he cannot see nor enjoy the kingdom of God to come.

The book of Deuteronomy is a book of Remembrance. Some call it the giving of the second law. It’s Moses calling the children of Israel to remember the things which God has said.

Scripture says that Joseph told his brethren when Pharaoh asks you what your occupation is, you tell him we be shepherds. Because every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians. In other words, the Egyptians detested shepherds.

Many seem to have questions about Christmas time and its meaning. But none more than Mary who was told she would birth the Savior of the world. Even she was filled with amazement and reasoned in her heart what these things meant.

Christmas is the season that requires much planning and preparation to get ready for. But in many cases, many people miss the true meaning for the season. Christmas should be a time or a reminder of that first Christmas when the Savior of the world was born. The psalmist said, “Behold he cometh.” Do you have room for Him in your heart should He come?
