We put our money in the bank and financial institutions because we want them to watch over and keep it for us. It is amazing that we will trust man before we trust God. The psalmist said that the Lord was his keeper. In other words, the Lord was his preserver and his defender. He will keep you from danger, he will keep you from sin, and he will keep you unto eternal life.

Literally give to the wise, and he will be wise. Whatever you give to such, they reap profit from it. If we teach a just man; one that is truly so, that has seen the insufficiency of his own righteousness, and who has learned Christ, as the Lord his God, and one who lives soberly, righteously, and godly; teach such a man the doctrines of the Gospel; he will increase in learning; he will grow in grace, and in the knowledge of Christ and all divine things.

There should be a desire within us to know no only the the word of truth, but the certainty of them, that or faith may be intelligent and rational and may grow up to a full assurance in Him.

In some denominations, their overall focus is money as the way to prosper. But one must ask themselves if that is all there is to life is money. John wrote, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2).
