Have you ever been afraid to be a witness to someone? As Pastor Doug Sauder takes us through the final chapter of Luke, we learn how Jesus appeared before His followers after His resurrection and asked them to be a witness of the things they had seen when they walked with Him. We too are called to be His witness. To do so, you don't have to be a Bible scholar. All you need to do is share your testimony of all that God has done for you in your life.
In John chapter nine, we learn of Jesus' love for outcasts, demonstrated by His encounter with a blind man. As Pastor Jerry points out, Jesus compassionately took the initiative to restore the man's physical and spiritual sight. Meanwhile, the religious leaders of the day chose spiritual blindness rather than mercy and faith. The story should cause us to reflect on the love, trust, and simple obedience required to see spiritual things clearly.
On this Thanksgiving Eve, Family Pastor Reuben Ramsaran gives a topical message on what it means to be thankful in light of everything God has provided in our lives.
Luke 23 tells the story of a King in disguise - convicted and condemned by those who didn't recognize His true identity. Continuing in Luke, Pastor Doug Sauder discusses four men who saw the King for who He really was - Simon of Cyrene, the thief at the cross, a centurion, and Joseph of Arimathea.
Have you ever questioned God's love for you? Maybe, you never saw a prayer answered or felt like you were treated unjustly. In this message, Pastor Doug Sauder sheds light on God's heart as He responds to the Israelites disappointed and cynical questions.
Jesus endured numerous trials in the hours before His crucifixion. He was sinless and without fault, but His accusers condemned Him because they refused to see their own sin. In a study of Luke chapters 22 and 23, Pastor Doug Sauder points out that our opinion of Jesus is not really a judgment of Him, but of ourselves.
The final week of Jesus' ministry is building toward its great climax. As Pastor Fidel Gomez continues this series through the Book of Luke, we're reminded of God's unconditional love as it's shown by the multiple sacrifices that Jesus made for us out of a pure heart.
Everybody is accepted. As Pastor Doug Sauder teaches about the last Thursday of Jesus' earthly ministry, we learn about the access Jesus has given us to the communion table. It's a safe place to fail, to be restored, and to fellowship. Jesus wants us to remember Him at the communion table.
Pastor Doug Sauder continues the Minor Prophet, Major Message series with the first of a two-part teaching on the prophet Haggai. In this message we are challenged to put God as the center of our lives in a world that is relentless in telling us to put ourselves there.
Luke chapter 21 reveals important things Jesus had to say about the future during the last week of His life on earth. He predicted the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem and the events leading up to His Second Coming. Pastor Doug Sauder reminds us that the most important thing for us to know about the future is that we can and should be ready for it.
