We live in a world saturated with sensual temptations, but Jesus has set us a part for greater things. Join us this weekend as we learn from Gods Word how to live a life that is pleasing to our God.

In the second half of Mark 8, Jesus heals a blind man and reveals that He is the Christ. He begins teaching about His suffering, rejection, and death. We learn that we must deny ourselves, take up the cross, and follow Jesus to be a disciple.

As we study 1 Thessalonians 3 we will see the loving heart of Paul as he encourages this newer group of believers. We will also examine the ways people can be strengthened or weakened by temptations and trials. God wants us to stand strong in the storms of life.

In Mark 8, Jesus gives us a strong warning; don’t let hypocrisy, worldliness, and compromise infiltrate your lives. We’ll also learn what doubting God looks like.

As we start 1 Thessalonians 2, Paul models what a model minister is and encourages us all to be ministers in the world around us.

In this passage of Mark 7 we will see Jesus heal based on the faith of others. We will also examine passages to build our faith for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in our lives.

As we start 1 Thessalonians 1, we will learn how this early church displayed Faith, Love and Hope. We will learn how we can let our faith in Christ be visible to others.

In Mark 7, Jesus confronts the Pharisees about laying aside the commands of God for their own traditions. Jesus also explains that the root of all issues come from the heart.

The bible calls us to honor, respect and love all people whether they deserve it or not.  We must choose to live a life that shows honor, respect and love.

In the second half of Mark 6, we’ll learn that God wants us to be an active partner in His ministry and in His miracles. We’ll also learn that if we have faith, Jesus always provides enough and it is more than we need.
