Jesus is the Answer!

Join us this weekend as we explore how we’ve been appointed for God’s service and called to live on mission for Him. Discover how, by experiencing His grace, faith, and love, we are equipped for the fight ahead and empowered to fulfill our calling.

In Mark 13 Jesus describes end times and gives us some clues to watch out for. He also warns us that many believers will get deceived and fall away.

We begin our study of 1 Timothy 1 learning about discipleship, false teachers, doctrine, and the purpose of the law. We will learn the importance of “sound biblical doctrine” and ways to keep from being deceived by false teachings.

Mark 12 reminds us that God’s knowledge is far superior to ours, and His power is too great for us to imagine. Jesus will also remind us to love God with our heart, mind, and soul.

This weekend, Paul’s letter gives a strong warning to the believers WITHIN the Church. We’ll see how that warning still applies to us today, and we’ll also learn what surrendering to Jesus looks like.

In the last few verses of Mark 11, Jesus counter-questions the religious leaders about the source of His authority. In the beginning of Mark 12, we unpack the parable of the tenant farmers and learn what Jesus has to say about paying taxes to Caesar.

As we dive into 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we will learn about end times and especially about being “ready for the rapture”. We will also learn some ways Satan tries to deceive people from following Jesus.

In Mark 11, Jesus will rebuke a fig tree and the Pharisees for the same problem, a lack of fruit. He will also point out that holding on to unforgiveness will block our prayers.

Just as a mirror fogs and needs to be cleaned, so too our perspective on life can get distorted and need a reorientation. Join us as we learn to thrive in life’s difficulties by changing our perspective.
