Life doesn’t always turn out as we anticipate, but through it all God and his grace walk with us to the end. We will learn how the calling and grace of God gives us understanding to life’s unpredictable circumstances.

In preparation to conquer the Promised Land, Joshua sends two spies to scope out Jericho. God arranges an unlikely encounter between these two spies and a prostitute, who becomes part of the lineage of Jesus.

As we finish the book of 1 Timothy, Paul will summarize his prior instructions to Timothy. He will remind us of some key things to pursue and give us a strong warning about some things to flee from.

As we start the book of Joshua, we’ll review how Israel’s lack of faith kept them from entering “God’s rest”. We’ll also review the covenant promises God made to Abraham & see them fulfilled through Joshua’s strong faith.

As Paul begins to close out chapter six, we see that contentment in this life is only found through godly living with eternity in mind.

As we finish the 2nd half of 1 Timothy 5, we will learn about spiritual leaders, our role in the church and the importance of purity in our character.

Mark writes about Jesus being buried in Joseph's tomb at the end of Chapter 15. In Chapter 16, the women arrive at the tomb to discover Jesus is not there because He has risen from the grave. Finishing out the Gospel of Mark, Jesus commands His disciples to "Go" and fulfill the Great Commision.

In this first part of 1 Timothy 5 we will study the topic of Responsible Generosity. We will learn when to be generous and help those in need and when should we not help.
