God’s silence is not His absence. He is always at work in our lives, even when we don’t see it.

As we start Colossians 1 we will see Paul’s heart for the church. We will read into his prayer journal for others and learn what is God’s Will for our lives. We will also learn how our faith can be visible to others.

In Genesis Chapter 40, we’ll study two dreams and see they are a symbolic picture of judgement day. We’ll also see God’s “rescue plan” for Joseph start to unfold.

As we finish Philippians 4 we will learn the secret of contentment and the importance of generosity in our relationship with God. This section of scripture has two very popular verses Christians stand upon in their everyday lives.

Genesis Chapter 38 might be the “messiest” story in the Bible. We’ll learn that hidden sin never stays hidden, and that God’s rescue plan for mankind includes some VERY unlikely characters!

In Philippians 4, Paul gives us some practical ways to have peace when our worries seem overwhelming. We’ll also learn how to use our stress and anxiety in a positive way, to guide us into specific prayers.

In Genesis Chapter 36 and 37, we begin the story of Joseph. We’ll learn about the “pitfalls” of pride, and we’ll see that even when things look hopeless, God has a rescue plan that will accomplish His purposes!

In the same way, the stresses of life wear us down, even spiritually. Today, that just like an airplane needs regular maintenance, so too our faith needs maintenance and even recertified, by the Gospel.

As we study the second half of Philippians 2 we learn how God works in and then through us. We will also learn great faith qualities we can add to our spiritual lives to help us have joy and fulfill God’s purposes for our lives.

As we study Genesis Chapter 35, we’ll learn that God requires Christ followers to be different. He calls us to be “different” by separating ourselves from the world’s ungodly influences.
