Tonight, we gather to engage in targeted, intentional prayer. As we come together, we will pray for God’s church and our mission team as they are sent to Peru. We will pray with faith and expectancy, trusting God to strengthen His people, accomplish His purposes, and transform lives through His power.

Today we learn an important lesson from the book of James in that God will sometimes use trials to build us up and increase our faith.

Sometimes we doubt an outcome because we judge the future based on what we’ve witnessed in the past, but we need to ensure we’re not losing faith in God’s abilities. Many times God moves right when things seem hopeless or impossible, because without Him it would have been! Tonight we’ll study an example of God doing the impossible which gives us hope for how He may act in and around our lives today.

James 1:1–11 shows that trials have a purpose, God uses pressure to grow our faith, build perseverance, and lead us into maturity and wisdom as we learn to trust Him in every season.

Today we learn about the similarities between the trial of Paul and the trial of Jesus. The big lesson is that Jesus brings truth, righteous, and salvation to a sinful world.

2 Corinthians 13 is a challenge from Paul to be honest about your walk with Christ. Examine Yourself in Faith asks if your faith is real and active, not just something you say, but something that is changing how you live, think, and follow Jesus every day

Paul prepares to stand before Agrippa. His example teaches us to be less consumed with prepared answers and more faithful to have prepared hearts.

Paul defends his ministry not with pride, but with sacrifice, humility, and genuine love. Though wounded by criticism, he chooses instead to pour himself out for their spiritual growth. The passage reveals a powerful truth: God’s servants are strongest when they walk in integrity, endure weakness, and confront sin with love and courage.
