Lydia’s spiritual and practical response to the gospel, shows that God leads His people and opens hearts to receive the gospel. Lydia responds with faith, baptism, and generosity reminding us that salvation starts with God and leads to action.

The story of Joseph in Potiphar’s house highlights integrity, temptation, false accusation, and the fear of God. Joseph resists sin out of reverence for God, and despite injustice, God remains with him and causes him to prosper.

This weekend we see that consistently and deliberately disobeying God has catastrophic results. Often, we think that what we have done will keep us from Gods Grace. Not so, this weekend we will see that God can turn our mess into a miracle as we see in the Genealogical line of Jesus.

Paul begins his second missionary journey. Paul has plans of where he is going and when but the Holy Spirit interrupts Paul’s plan. We will see tonight that Gods plan is better than ours and that we should be obedient, flexible, and ready to follow the Holy Spirits guidance.

Today we learn the story of how Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery. The main lesson to learn from this event is that God can work miracles and achieve his plans no matter what obstacles we humans throw in his way.

Conflict is never fun, and we usually think that it ends in a bad way. Tonight, we will see a conflict but also that God will take it and use it to spread the Gospel. There is a right way to handle conflict, and the scripture will guide us through it.

Today we learn through the parable of the rich landowner that its God’s nature and his desire to want to bless us. Knowing this helps us understand God’s desire to all people to be saved.

Conflict within the Church is inevitable. The question therefore is: how should we handle it in a biblical and godly fashion? Let’s find out in Acts 15.

This weekend as we look at the four soils and how the soil represents our hearts. We will take a look at how we receive and what we do with Gods word. Gods word is living and is our blue print to a life filled with freedom and peace.
