As the apostle Paul realized the end of his days was near, we find a man who wasn't full of anxiety and regret but a man who was settled and prepared for his departure. From Paul's life, we receive a great example of how we should be prepared for our final departure as well.

As Paul continues his defense of himself against the attacks against him by these false teachers in Galatia, we will see him now shift his argument to his lack of concern about what any “person” has to say about him to only what “God” has to say about him.

Last week we saw Paul fighting back and defending himself and the gospel against those “creeping in” to the church in the Galatia region who were trying to put the Galatians under the Law of Moses after gaining their freedom in Jesus. This week we will see Paul continue this theme as he continues laying the groundwork for his defense of freedom in Jesus over the “works” or “good deeds” of the Law when it comes to pleasing God.

We should never allow any prejudice to be in our hearts. As Christians we know that their is only one race, the human race, and God has created us all. Therefore we are all called to give the Gospel to everyone. The "living water" so that we will never thirst again.

Paul gives some background on his education and credentials as an apostle to those who were questioning his authority. Today we look at how our testimony can have a great impact on those around us..good or bad. Are you living a life that is well-pleasing to the Lord? How is your life a testimony to others? In order to be effective in any ministry that the Lord has called us to, we need to have our priorities in order and put the Lord first above all.
