The Cambridgeshire Fens are facing threats from climate change, the availability of water, and the peat soil becoming exhausted and emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Julian hears from Dr Laurie Friday and Tom Marquand, who are leading a Cambridge Festival session next month.

Julian visits Maggie’s at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he meets Caz Randell, who’s living with Clear Cell Carcinoma, and Professor James Brenton, clinician-scientist and Senior Group Leader at Cancer Research UK.
