A special Camino of Hope walk will take place as part of this year’s Scarriff Harbour Festival, bringing together faith, history and community.
The 10km walk will travel from the centre of Scarriff to the historic mass rock at Cappabane in the Slieve Aughty mountains, a site that reflects the resilience of local people who kept their faith during the Penal Laws.
Leading the walk will be the Diocesan Bishop of Killaloe, Fintan Monahan, who joined Alan Morrissey to talk about the significance of the event, the importance of hope, and the connection between our past and present.
