Stone Hill Colleges Isaiah Burnett and Jackson Benigni join the show and talk about their back stories and how they found themselves on the court.

Coming from two different states and being two years of age apart, Isaiah and Jackson clicked fast and easy on the court in Stone Hill’s success over the years.

Both of their career paths have taken them in many different directions, but with this being Isaiah’s final year in a college uniform, the two look to make the best of their final season sharing the court.

Tim Sinclair is currently the Public Address Announcer for the Chicago Bulls, but the Chicago Fire, Bears, and for the University of Illinois.

His past consists of working for the Indiana Pacers and he has also done a numerous amount of commercial ads on TV and over the phones.

Tim’s voice has brought him very far in his career, most recently to Cleveland Ohio where he as the PA Announcer for the 2022 NBA All-Star weekend this past year. Not only that, but he was also the voice for the Bulls in NBA2k22 and intends to do the same for 2k23.

This week joining Cam’s Corner is none other than Rhode Island College’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach Jenna Cosgrove.

So far throughout her RIC career she’s been a three time Little East Coach of the Year and two time Little East Conference Champion.

Jenna touches upon the early stages of her coaching career and how her playing career played a huge role in paving the way for her future. She also attended Endicott where she would go on to play for the Women’s Basketball team there her four years and record the most wins in a single season in program history her senior year.

Lastly, she touches upon her career currently at RIC and what these last few seasons have meant to her.

Kenny is the school's all-time leader in blocks, and on five different occasions, he blocked eight shots in a single game. Green was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Freshman of the Year in 1986–87, and as a senior, his 124 blocks, topped the NCAA Division I. He was also honored as the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year that season. Green finished his career at URI with 1,724 points, 996 rebounds, and 328 blocks. In 2000, he was inducted into the University of Rhode Island Hall of Fame.

To start of the second season of Cam’s Corner, I am joined with University of Rhode Island (URI) Hall of Famer Carlton “Silk” Owens.

Silk was a member and a captain of the teams NCAA Sweet 16 run back in 1988 and is a fan favorite to have his jersey retired and in the rafters at The Ryan Center after his outstanding performances with his time with the Rams.

He also owns several Rhody records including the most points scored in program history (2,114), points scored in a single season (762), field goals made (766), 3-point FG percentage (.462).

Morey Hershgordon is the Sports Director at WPRI 12 and FOX Providence.

He joined the 12 Sports team in June 2018. He previously worked as both a reporter and weekend sports anchor.

Morey quickly experienced the championship culture in New England. He covered the Red Sox in the World Series, the Patriots’ Super Bowl LIII win over the Rams, and the Bruins’ run to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Blues. Locally, he followed Providence’s run to the Frozen Four and provided market-leading coverage from the Little League World Series.

Prior to WPRI, Morey was a sports anchor/reporter at WAOW-TV in Wausau, WI, where he was a finalist for “Best Sportscast.” Much like New England, Morey was in the heart of football country. He covered the Green Bay Packers for the “official Packers station” of Central Wisconsin and also regularly covered the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers.

In addition to television, Morey also has extensive experience as a public address announcer. Most prominently, he was the in-arena voice for The Basketball Tournament’s (TBT) Northeast Regional, Sweet Sixteen, and Elite Eight games which were broadcast live on ESPN.

Episode 27 will feature Rhode Island College’s 2nd Baseman and Sophomore Student Cal Parrillo.

Cal’s second year with the Anchormen has started off to a great start with the team now being 8-4-1. Each win they have been able to capture has been dominate with Cal and his teammates killing the ball at the plate every chance they get. He currently leads his conference in Home runs with 4 and RBI with 20.

Cal also touches upon his high school days at Ponaganset High School and what it was like transitioning into college during the COVID-19 breakout season.

This week on Getting to Know The Players, Rhode Island College Guard for the Anchorwomen, Antonia Corsinetti joins the brand new Instagram Live Series. The Two-Time Little East Champion and one-time league MVP guard talks a lot about her experiences with her coach, the early stages of her college career, and what it has been like going up against old teammates and opponents from high school now at the college level.

The very first feature on Getting to Know The Player, Damian Tucker of the Rhode Island College Anchormen. Damian is going into his 3rd year at RIC and has left a tremendous mark so far.

Starting in a few game this past season, including three 20 point games, and a plentiful amount of flashy highlights.
