Are we able to obtain eternal rewards in this lifetime? Some teachings lead us to believe the more money we give to building the kingdom of God, the more money God will give us as a reward.  God sent us the apostle Paul to teach about life in the new covenant and he tells us God wants us to be joyful in our giving but sometimes that is difficult. What can we learn from Paul and be sure we have a proper perspective of what he meant when he said, “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” in 2 Corinthians 9:6?
