We all have weaknesses. There are seasons in life that some experiences bring fear and dread. But what can we do about it? Are we called to just endure and when we are out of this world the struggle will finally be over? Or is there something we can do about it right now and be free today? I think there is, and I have recently had a radical shift in my thinking and Iwant to share it with you. The Book of Revelation has caused more confusion and misunderstanding than any other book in the Bible. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It is plain and clear when we read it in context with the proper audience in mind.

Today we talk about Matthew 24 and ask the question “Is Jesus coming back and is it even important for me to know?”

As we approach the question of prophecy and what has been fulfilled and what is coming, it is important to understand Daniels interpretation of the king’s dream, what will happen in the future and to whom it applies. As we look at Daniel 9, we see that we can understand this prophecy is for Israel, not the whole world. It is also for a period of time and understanding that specific time will enable us to live in truth. That is important because truth sets us free.

Today we complete Daniel 2 that sets the stage for understanding the last days. When we understand what God has done, is doing, and going to do, we can walk in harmony with His truth. Even if we have misunderstood many things about God, it is never too late to learn truth. That is so important because deception is evil and truth sets people free. Today we talk about some things that are leading us to some conclusions that may challenge what we have believed before. Let’s grow and learn together.

Learning and growing is built into us. It is a natural desire to mature and grow in strength and wisdom and the Lord wants to feed that desire. Complacency, boredom, and indifference have no place in our lives when the exciting good news is all around us.

Today’s episode we look at the dream in Daniel and lay a foundation for understanding some things in the scriptures we possibly have not considered before.

Understanding God’s heart and intentions stabilizes us infaith. If we are unsure about God and what He is going to do in the future, we are on shaky ground. We can hear and read about building our lives on the rock but in all honesty, we don’t feel stable at all.

What is God going to do and where do I fit in?

Is God’s anger going to be poured out and if so, on who?

Is God just mad in general and going to wipe out sin or has He already done that, and I can live in that reality today?
