Today we complete Daniel 2 that sets the stage for understanding the last days. When we understand what God has done, is doing, and going to do, we can walk in harmony with His truth. Even if we have misunderstood many things about God, it is never too late to learn truth. That is so important because deception is evil and truth sets people free. Today we talk about some things that are leading us to some conclusions that may challenge what we have believed before. Let’s grow and learn together.

Learning and growing is built into us. It is a natural desire to mature and grow in strength and wisdom and the Lord wants to feed that desire. Complacency, boredom, and indifference have no place in our lives when the exciting good news is all around us.

Today’s episode we look at the dream in Daniel and lay a foundation for understanding some things in the scriptures we possibly have not considered before.

Understanding God’s heart and intentions stabilizes us infaith. If we are unsure about God and what He is going to do in the future, we are on shaky ground. We can hear and read about building our lives on the rock but in all honesty, we don’t feel stable at all.

What is God going to do and where do I fit in?

Is God’s anger going to be poured out and if so, on who?

Is God just mad in general and going to wipe out sin or has He already done that, and I can live in that reality today?

Today Corinne continues her conversation with Connie Miller. The discussion centers around the end times prophecy and fulfillment of the things we read in the book of Revelation. We talk about what some of the prophecies meant when John wrote them, the audience Revelation was written to, and how to fit it into context. You probably are going to hear things you may have never heard before but now have an opportunity to consider if they are true. Connie has so much to share with us and we begin by getting to know Connie’s background and how she came to be a writer, speaker and teacher in the body of Christ. As we discuss the grace and goodness of God found in the gospel, we are encouraged, at rest, joyful, and at peace when we understand the undeniable and perfect love God has for His sons and daughters.

Our conversation today is a lead-in to two more episodes of Corinne and Connie discussing things you probably have never heard before, but need to consider.

Why do we have a Bible? What was God’s intention when He had men write it down for the world to know? A lot of work, discussions, debates, books, movies, study, research and history has occurred to convey a message to mankind, but why? Why all the work and toil? Do we need to become a scholar in theology? Must we understand Greek and Hebrew, original words, meanings and usage? Is it even possible? The Bible says even a child can understand, how could they understand all of that? Impossible!

On today’s Grace at LAST podcast we simplify things, so we are not overwhelmed with trying to understand all the “deep things” of the Bible. Today we narrow it down to one thing, the Most Important Message in the Bible. I am so glad you joined in today.

It is critical to understand context if we are going to understand what God is saying in the scriptures. If we do not understand context, we are going to be led astray.

No way around it, it will happen.

We will become confused about the scriptures because we don’t understand how to apply them to our lives and we will become frustrated.

But how do we know?

How do we know if the scriptures are for us to do or just for us to know? Where do we start?  These are important questions and we are going to talk about them today in our weekly Grace at LAST Podcast. I am so glad you joined in today.

Recording from Costa Rica we talk about the new. The new you and the new life Christ provided for you and me through the cross and resurrection. I believe too many people are living with an old covenant mindset and they could be living in the new.

Even people who understand new covenant truths can live with an old covenant mindset. The new is better. We can renew our minds to understand the truth about the new us, the new heaven, the new man, our new life, and the new earth.

There is real freedom in the truths of today’s message and I hope and pray you are living in the newness of life that Jesus made available to all who believe.
