We found a failed pilot based on the blockbuster horror movie HOUSE OF WAX that was too intense for audiences in the 1960s, and got sent to theaters with a brand new gimmick, a brand new title (CHAMBER OF HORRORS) and - for some reason - a completely unnecessary cameo from Tony Curtis!
Was this surprisingly violent detective series... CANCELED TOO SOON?
