This is our friend Laura’s story (part 1)... She’s a wife, mother, friend, PEMF practitioner, horsewoman, teacher, business owner and so much more! Laura was recently diagnosed with “invasive ductal carcinoma”...

She was the first woman we talked to in this series, but this is the first time we are sharing her story with our subscribers (Though our Insta and FB followers did get a glimpse during our breast cancer awareness event). We first spoke with Laura just after she was diagnosed, and just circled back after her 2 surgeries and the start of her radiation, so she could share her journey so far with all of you.

This is Jenny's breast cancer story (broken into 5 parts for our pod cast listeners). With a strong history of cancer, she had done the routine mammograms for years. Thankfully they had always been clear, as was her last one... cut to 10 months later, with Jenny waking up to a painful "bouncy ball" sized lump in her breast, that turned out to be a very aggressive, rare combination of cancers. Today would have been my mom's birthday. She's been gone 33 years, which doesn't seem possible most days... Her death certificate lists "carcinoma of the breast" as cause of death at just 40 years old, after an 8+ year battle. If found in today’s world, this would have been treatable and probably curable, but I guess there's no point going into "what ifs"... She is my why! The why behind these videos, behind my journey into motherhood, behind who I am and why I strive so hard to be the best wife, mother, and friend I can be! 

My friend Amber also had someone dear to her stolen by breast cancer. Her sister Lisa was only 28 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After learning of a recent mammogram scare for Amber, I invited her over to talk about it and learned the full story of the loss of her sister, which she graciously agreed to share with you here. 

This is our breast cancer story... or at least part of it! This is just a glimpse into what breast cancer does and how those left in its wake are affected. We hope you are doing everything in your power to prevent it, as early detection is the key to fighting this disease!
