Let's talk about managing a boarding barn...

There is SO much that goes into running a successful boarding facility! We're not just talking about a financial success (as most business are judged) but all of the other details that go into it for us horse people! Costs, boarders, horses, policy, pitfalls, problems, and remind me why were doing this again? Oh yea, because we love it (most days).

This is the first time we have gathered together to start the conversation on this topic, but wont be the last. He is a man who makes learning fun and time with our horses even more enjoyable! Michael is the youngest son of “America's Most Trusted Horseman” John Lyons. We have found that you can both see and feel John at times when working with Michael, and it is so nice to see the Lyons Legacy continue in this way! Michael and his wife Julia have a beautiful facility in Randleman, North Carolina and share their knowledge and expertise there, and across the country, teaching clinics year-round.
