But, Frederik Andersen allowed a terrible goal to Chris Kreider early in the 3rd period and the floodgates opened. Kreider netted two more, completing the natural hat trick in a span of 8:58 of the third. Vincent Trochek and Barclay Goodrow also scored for New York who ended the series with Carolina at PNC Arena for the second time in 3 years.
