Jordan Martinook scored 16 seconds into the game and the Hurricanes never trailed. Jalen Chatfield, Seth Jarvis, Teuvo Teravainen and Michael Bunting scored in the win. Jack Drury and Martin Necas had two assists each and the Canes move within 6 points of the first place Rangers in the Metro.
