Nigel Wheeler is the General Counsel for the Carolina Hurricanes. Wheeler recounts his winding career path into the sports industry that began in broadcast journalism, transitioned into a touring band, steered into law and landed in hockey. Wheeler comments on the importance of Black representation, explores how hockey can grow in the Black community and explains the strategic reason behind being a one-car family.
