This is a great chat for anyone interested in Sport Protection Training. Shade Whitesel has competed in Schutzhund / IGP for close to 30 years. She is a crossover trainer who has found an approach that promotes a more rewarding / positive experience for the dogs she trains. **I'm seeing this as a common thread in many highly talented trainers.

Dog training, veterinary medicine, and holistic healing collide in this powerful conversation. My dog's health is so important to me... This was never planned to be a podcast, but I was so s tricked by the questions Fabian asked me, I felt compelled to share it with everyone. Fabian Alvidrez reached out to me to ask me some questions about a journalism project he is doing for TCU, Texas Christian University. A little about Fabian: Fabian is a senior Journalism major and Kinesiology minor from Texas Christian University. A lifelong outdoorsman who practices fly fishing, traditional fishing, hunting and rock climbing. Before University he worked as a ranch hand for his father who is a horse trainer and raised his brothers and him around live stock. He also served a little over four years as a U.S Marine with two deployments.
