Murphy Tudlow was an active young boy who grew up in the muddy town of Reeds Mill, AL on the Florida/Alabama border near the gulf. He was a talented carpenter and active thinker. He ended up as a sergeant for the Confederates in the Civil War before returning home to help start a camp that went on to train generations of future leaders.
