  • surviving domestic violence ft. Daejanee

FEM.R has a very special guest this week for an important episode on domestic violence.

Daejanee, a best friend of Faiths, rewinds time 10 years ago to share the story of her survival after almost losing her life by the hands of her (at the time) boyfriend, the oppressor.

The women go over when and where the red flags started, how to spot out the warning signs of domestic violent relationships, and observe how abusers lure in their victims during vulnerable times of their lives. As well as the manipulation tactics that keep the victim trapped in the “toxic cycle of abuse.”

Faith shares what it was like being a witness to the abuse, what she could do to help her best friend in that horrible situation. She shares what to do if someone you love is being abused, what actions to take and how to be the best support for your loved one.

Daejanee courageously shares the story of the night she was almost killed. She relives, for the listeners, what it was like to get so physically assaulted to the point where she almost lost her life and her eyesight. She describes how she finally got out of the cycle (that feels never ending) of abuse, when it was finally time to contact the police and why she waited so long to get the help she deserved to leave.

She reflects on what life and love is like after surviving her attacks, what trauma she has carried and how to prevent post traumatic stress in her current relationship. Daejanee shares her powerful message to others out there that are experiencing this widespread worldwide occurrence of domestic abuse.

  • Goddess Training 101 w/ Lorri Soqui⊹ ࣪ ˖

Faith brings on her life mentor, Lorri Soqui! Faith asks Lorri to teach the Femmes how to hone in on their inner Goddess to shine in a life full of abundance - with the  "Goddess Training" she taught Faith, which changed her life forever. Almost a decade ago, Faith decided to take a leap of faith by moving to Saint George, Utah - where an opportunity was given to start over with a new life, in a new house, with the best support system imaginable. That’s where Faith started her first sobriety journey and the Goddess training truly began. She was ready to take in all the knowledge and wisdom Lorri had to offer, astonished by how applying it to her life gave her a whole new outlook on everything.

They go back in time to talk about Faith’s first sobriety in 2017, all that led up to that moment of deciding to get sober and how support was key in having the strength to quit. Now that Faith is in her second sobriety journey of life, with the spiritual wisdom, in her thirties, there’s so much more to say about alcohol, addiction and reframing her way of viewing

the grip it has on alcoholics. They discuss the difference between those who CAN drink and those who CANNOT, when to know if it is affecting your life, being around alcohol while sober,  how to drink responsibly and truly figure out if it works for you personally.

Goddess training begins with The Law of Attraction, Lorri teaches the Femmes all about the energy and vibrational frequency that shapes your life. She then explains how to apply this power to the divine femininity in becoming a true Goddess. Acknowledging that the feminine is the creator of life, the Goddess needs to be revered, there is a level of high consciousness available for the Goddess. Lorri teaches how to tap into the Goddess consciousness, the attitude of gratitude, a stress free mentality, where there are no triggers in life and conflicts are resolved gracefully. She explains how to take your Goddess-ship into a relationship, teaching the Femmes that there is a level of spirituality their partner must have, never lowering their vibration for another person.

Then there comes the physical aspect of The Goddess that we can't forget. Lorri explains how you MUST learn your deep breathing techniques that benefit the body in very many ways she shares. For example, deep breathing will help you gain control of your frontal brain, leading you to make the right decision under pressure. You must also PH balance your body, get physically active, nourish yourself with healthy foods, juices, supplements and GREAT water. And on the topic of great water, Lorri shares the way that she changes the molecular structure + vibration of her water which has prevented her from getting sick for over 15 years. There are so many of Lorri's tips and tricks that you cannot miss on this episode of Can't Shut the Femme Up!

  • sisterhood of the fangirls

Faith brings her little sister, Bren, on the show to talk about what it was like growing up as “fangirls” in the 2000s. Starting with indie bands like The Maine and A Cursive memory, it became a hobby of theirs to go to shows, get backstage and meet the bands, discovering their love for live shows and the artists behind them. Then their lives changed…they discovered Justin Bieber! Shortly after came along One Direction, opening a whole new word of boy crazy, twitter sleuthing, fangirl culture. Find out the determination of these two sisters as they go back in time and reminisce over their crazy fangirl stories; staying at Justin Bieber’s hotel, catching Niall Horan and Zayn Malik for a smoke break, kissing Aaron Carter, ending up on TMZ and more more.

All of their fangirl dreams were made possible because of their amazing Dad. <3
