The COVID-19 pandemic had not speared the practices of organizational leadership and human resource activities as organizations had to be changed in response to the restrictive measures caused by the pandemic. The announcement of the COVID-19 as a pandemic by the World Health Organization has created a call for sudden readjustment for many organizations. These organizations have to re-strategize and re-think their goals to survive (White, 2020). Many of these organizations had to change operations from their traditional in-office method to digital technology merely for the protection of their employees, potential employees, and other external customers (Johns Hopkins University, 2020). Canyouth’s Exploration talked with a human resource executive from St. Lucia, Juliana Samuel: Senior manager, operations manager, lifestyle advisor, and UWI facilitator. It is undoubtedly frustrating for these parents and also for the teachers who have to be online educators. Canyouth's Exploration explores COVID-19 created homeschooling challenges in the Canadian and Jamaican culture. Hear what a trained teacher had to say about homeschooling her child and what she thinks about a blended model of schooling after the pandemic. What are the homeschooling policies in both countries?
