There is much confusion in the Church today about the Day of Lord. 1 Thessalonians makes it clear that while the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night for the unbeliever, it will not come in that way for the believer. Quite to the contrary, the child of God is looking forward to that day, he is actively waiting, with anticipation, for that day--It is our Blessed Hope. Even so, Come Lord Jesus-

For the last hundred and fifty years the teaching of a secret rapture has been a very popular way of thinking regarding the 2nd coming of Christ to this earth. But the language of Scripture regarding the return of Christ speaks of something that will be anything but a secret event. The Church needs to be ready and anticipating this glorious event of our Savior's return.

There is much confusion in our day about how to know God's will for our lives. But the Bible is very clear about those things that God intends for His people to do and seek.
