“What happened in the past is not indicative of the future. Ever since Covid, uncertainty is almost the norm now”.
My guest, this week, is Kevin Slemko, from Midtown Appraisal Group Inc. As an appraiser, Kevin shared with us his view and concerns on what is happening in today’s real estate market. Some of those concerns are related to renewing and refinancing. Listen to what he's got to say and the sound advice he gives us, especially if you are planning to purchase a home.

Getting an objective insight into your finances is one of the most crucial steps when you are planning to purchase a house. This is why we strive to always give you the right advice and provide you with all the information you need to know if you can meet your goals, when it comes to a mortgage.
In order to avoid surprises in the future, you should really pay attention to all these little things. This is why I sat down with Kanik Nayyar and we put together this episode for you.
Mortgages! Yes, I’ve decided to talk about my passion when it comes to work.
Many of you have asked me why I never talk about what I do. Well… now I am. There are many reasons as to why I have decided to bring the topic of mortgages into my podcast, besides the other passions I have in my life. As a career, mortgages are my world. So, I hope this is helpful for you, especially if you are considering getting a mortgage.
Sometimes we need to stop to reflect on what we have done and said, as it helps us find the path that makes us happy. Looking back into the many different episodes I’ve recorded, I found four such moments, which I find important to share with you once again. Hope you enjoy this Real Talk as much as I do.
For this week’s episode, I decided to present you a few highlights of past episodes, let’s call them the gold nuggets of the podcast. I believe it is important to bring them up again as they focus on important topics and themes, at least for me. Hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think.
How often do you allow yourself to rest? Are you part of the group that waits for vacation to be able to take a break? Or do you understand the importance taking breaks once in a while, whether you are on vacation or not? Resting means improving our mental health, our memory and concentration, reducing our stress, among other benefits.
I thought I’d talk about this topic on this episode of the Real Talk. Hope you enjoy it.
You all know I’m about giving gratitude and staying positive. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t be under the weather or that you can’t have a week where things are just off. That’s because negative energies sometimes need to leave your body. This is what I am talking about in this episode.
Let’s see why we sometimes feel like positivity is not something on our side.
It is known that in order to succeed in life, one must count on partnerships both at work and at home. It’s the latter one I want to address today. Your partner’s support can make or break the path to success, as it is important to have a partner who supports you in all of your endeavours. I’m fortunate that my husband is my rock, someone who believes in my vision, and who is there for me all the time.
This is the reason why I decided to have Zervane on this episode of the Real Talk! I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.
