The latest news on the case of the four slain University of Idaho students and how it's possible that the prosecutors could ask for a grand jury indictment, which could undercut Kohberger's defense team's six months of preparation time for the probable cause hearing. Kohberger, you may recall, waived his right to a speedy probable cause hearing, which set it out to June of 2023. That's not the jury trial...that's just the probable cause hearing. Also, mental health could still play a role in this case to some extent despite the insanity defense being prohibited in Idaho. Allow me to explain this and more to you.

We now have a potential place of crossed paths between suspect Bryan Kohberger and some of the female victims of the horrid case out of Moscow Idaho. That unnamed former employee told People Magazine that on at least two occasions, Kohberger dined in the Mad Greek, where victims Maddie Mogen and Xana Kernodle worked as servers. Could that have been where Kohberger, who follows a strict vegan diet, first laid eyes on some of the beautiful young women who lived at the house on King Road? Although the former employee was unable to say whether or not Maddie or Xana waited on Kohberger, this could be the connection, the crossroads, if you will, that put the victims in the path of the alleged perpetrator.

The Idaho Statesmen newspaper is reporting that suspect Bryan Kohberger who is charged in the case of the four slain University of Idaho students in Moscow, told a fellow Washington State University, graduate student, who was living in his same apartment complex that he submitted his DNA for consumer genetic testing to explore his ancestry. If Kohberger's DNA was in a public database before August, why didn't the authorities match him up with that mystery DNA on the leather sheath earlier? Today, I'll examine that question and share this neighbor's recollections of his time and conversations with Kohberger. I promise it will add another layer to your understanding of Mr. Bryan Kohberger.

Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the Moscow, Idaho, case appeared in court today where he waived his right to a speedy probable cause hearing within 14 days. His public defender, Anne Taylor, requested that the judge allowed four or five days for the probable cause hearing and no objection from the district attorney was lodged. The judge blocked the week of June 26 for the matter.
Why did Bryan Kohberger decide to pursue his doctorate in criminology at Washington State University anyway? Attending WSU, meant the Pennsylvania native would have to move 2500 miles across the country. What was it about Washington State University that twinkled his toes?
