Carolina was shockingly active on the first day of NHL free agency.  They brought back forward Jesper Fast and both goaltenders, as Frederik Andersen and Antti Raanta each agreed to contracts with slight pay cuts.  But, the real splash was the -- out of the blue --  signing of longtime Capitals defenseman Dimitri Orlov and former Toronto winger Michael Bunting.  What do those transactiions mean going forward?  And, what to make of the club's draft haul?
