Today, we're bringing you an oldie but a goodie from the vault, our conversation from last fall with Ben Carr. Ben is the Director of the Well Counseling Center and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ben is passionate about empathy, acceptance, and respect, and integrating scriptural wisdom to lead others into deeper freedom. This episode covers everything from anyone who feels they need to perform or strive, read their Bible in a way that shames and guilts them, and the conversation around medication and theology.
The girls discuss being slightly chaotic in public, a sweet last minute getaway, and the amazing free money that comes to you when you use girl math!! ;)

Kailyn joins the gals to talk about our crazy trend/diet obsessed culture, how eating and what we eat affects not only our physical but also our spiritual, what real balance can look like, and how you and I can correlate our physical decisions with our spiritual health.
The gals get right into it about childhood cartoons and parasites?! Yikes.

Ally Brewer jumps in the car with the gals for this episode about discovering and living into your strengths! Ally is a life coach and is a certified strengths finder educator, and today the gals talk about the lies we believe about ourselves, and what holds us back from being effective and healthy.
Ally shares her own history with loss and healing that has made her an intuitive problem solver and an excellent listener. Add to that a little snarky humor and plenty of pop culture references and ya'll this conversation is a treat.
Just a chaotic CT morning is all! This episode was recorded literally last November, so the gals chat for a minute about the holidays (and what that means for moms), Shanah get's a weird creepy facial, and Grace talks about the evolution of Austin Butler's voice.

We're trucking along in our "As Yourself" series, talking about loving ourselves as we love our neighbors, and today we had Josh Hawley with us in the brand new studio! Josh gives us a broad understanding of what Scripture tells us about our bodies, what God thinks about our created bodies, and what the heck does it mean to worship God with these bodies and not let shame spirals, lies, or crazy diet culture take over our thoughts?!
We dive in and ask all the q's, and Josh tells us a crazy dream he had that Shanah was the hero in!!
In this episode we sit down and have a beautifully transparent conversation with our friend, Cory Fenn about mental health in ministry and leadership and the real effects that has had on Cory’s life. We get to hear how his struggles with his own mental health lead him to discover his passion of caring for, and equipping young ministry leaders as they pastor and lead through his ministry, Onward!
You can find more information about Onward at www.onwardleader.com or on instagram @onwardleader or @coryfenn

As we continue in our discipleship series, we wanted to hear from someone who has gone before us in so many areas of life, and hear from them what discipleship looks like in and out of their home, with their kids and spouse.

This one is full of deep theological and practical advice, friends! Melissa Danisi, Life Group Director and Womens Bible Leader in her local church, shares about her experience structuring a discipleship co-hort with young adult women, and discipling as she goes. The girls really try to get to the bottom of it: can you disciple from a platform or a stage? Or is discipleship held only in the intimate relationships we cultivate? annddd.. should women only be discipling other women and vice versa??
Keep listening to find out where we landed as we drove around!

The gals are joined today in the car by the one and only, Jason Spencer. Jason is a 2nd generation pastor in Southwest Fresno. Amidst so much laughing and having the best time, Jason drops so much truth about what it means to disciple outside the 4 walls of your church, without an agenda. He reminds us that if the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, then everyone should encounter God's goodness when they encounter us.
