Yes we’ve finally figured out how to work zoom and decided it was an appropriate time to interview Patrick, Head buyer at Elite Wine and Whiskies - a whisky cask investment firm. Given the news story that emerged recently from a certain whisky broker slating other whisky brokers over potential scams ✋ We thought it would be the perfect time to ask someone in the know so we can clear any questions up.
Massive thanks to Patrick for joining us and thanks again to Lloyd for helping us set this interview up.

In this episode the hosts taste two sought after Scotch Whiskies from the same series - Springbank Local Barley. The Local Barley series from Springbank Distillery is produced with barley grown in the surrounding area of Campbeltown meaning every part of the process - from sowing the barley seed to bottling the fine Whisky - is done in and around Campbeltown. A truly local dram and it does not disappoint.
The duo of 10 year old Whisky siblings are washed down with beer from a Glasgow brewery and of course accompanied by chat surrounding the meaning of Local barley, the Campbeltown to Tarbert postal service, barley breeding, Whisky news and the up to date Scotch Whisky League. Enjoy the show folks.
