This episode was sparked by a question many Whisky drinkers have asked - "Can you buy good Scotch Whisky in the supermarket?"
The hosts took it upon themselves to bring you a couple of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the supermarket, give you our honest opinions on them all while sampling some fine beers. A u-turn from our usual shop local motto but we didn't think you would mind for one week only! The Whiskies sampled are Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair and Glen Moray Peated.
The hosts also discuss the latest Whisky news, the Battle of Helms Deep, American oak Sherry casks, Whisky consistency, gallows of Elgin, the Saladin box and of course the Scotch Whisky League - we hope you enjoy the show.Â
