Unquenchable  Burn Bright (Week 4)
The Holy Spirit is sent by God to the people of God. What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? Is it just a divine gift box that provides us with fun ways of worship? The same Holy Spirit that arrived at Pentecost is available to each of us today. Let us embrace the Holy Spirit and live for the building of the Kingdom of God.

SCRIPTURE: 

Acts 2:1-13
2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,[b] 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

Unquenchable  Just Who You Need (Week 3)
The Holy Spirit is sent by God to the people of God. What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? Is it just a divine gift box that provides us with fun ways of worship? The person of the Holy Spirit is so much more. God comes to be with us and empower, inspire, and direct us in the building of the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is here for nothing less than transforming the world. Join us as we unpack this and continue to be UNQUENCHABLE.

SCRIPTURE: 
1 Corinthians 12:1-7
12 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

Acts 2:42-47
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Unquenchable  More Than You Imagined (Week 2)
Many times we relegate the person of the Holy Spirit to some sort of internal moral compass. God is just here to make us better humans. This couldn’t be further from the truth. God’s Holy Spirit is alive in us and has so much to offer. Maybe more than you imagined.

Jesus said “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?” Join us as we seek and serve the ONE. so that we can bring glory to God.

ONE. (Week 2) - One. in Mission
Jesus relentlessly pursues those outside. He says he came for the least and the lost. We as the church are to keep up this work. We are to be outwardly focused to love and encourage the one who is far from God to see God at work in us. We can only do that when we make the One. our priority. Join us this week as we look to seek and serve that which is lost.

SCRIPTURE: 
Luke 15:3-4
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 
4 Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.
John 4:7-9
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])
John 4:25-26
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.

Last week we celebrated Jesus' resurrection from the dead! What is next in the life of the church. How do we live out the Kingdom work that God has for us? What does it look like for each of us to live boldly into the resurrection promise we have from Christ? Join us as we look at how we are going to live out our faith in Christ over the next year.

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Although much has been said about him, what do we really know about the Jesus of the bible? What does Jesus have to say for himself? During this Easter season we are going to look through the Gospel of John at the seven “I AM” statements Jesus made to see if we can get a peek at the man behind the movement.

I AM (Week 6) - The Resurrection & The Life
Easter is the most significant day in the life of the church.  It is when we talk about Jesus’ resurrection and what it means for each of us.  Join us as we look at Jesus statement, “I am the resurrection and the life.”

SCRIPTURE: 
John 11:21-27
21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”  25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
Luke 24:1-8
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.

I AM (Week 4) - The Good Shepherd
Most of us have heard that Jesus is the Good Shepherd. What does that statement actually mean though? Shepherds are responsible for the care and well being of their sheep. The Good Shepherd goes to all lengths in order to accomplish this. Join us as we dive into John’s Gospel so that we can understand the great news that Jesus is our Good Shepherd.

SCRIPTURE: 
John 10:11-18
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
