On the show this week, we discuss the action drama Braven, as Jason Mamoa stars as a family man struggling to care for his father (Stephen Lang) who suffers from diminished mental capacity brought on by a previous head injury. As it tries to help his father with a trip to their family cabin, they unfortunately cross paths with a crew of drug runners, who have stashed their latest shipment in said cabin. Now the father and son will have to fight to survive.

Nothing is worse for business than a veteran assassin living out his retirement, and Victor Salva (Mads Mikkelsen) is about to find that out the hard way in the Netflix original movie, Polar. With teams of hitmen gunning for him so he can't collect on his pension, Victor is gonna show them all that "The Black Kaiser" is not one to be messed with!

On this week's episode, we're talking about the Netflix original movie IO, as Margaret Qualley plays Sam, a young research specialist who has stayed behind on Earth despite the toxicity of a majority of the planet's atmosphere, while the rest of the planet's population has migrated to an orbital lunar colony known as IO. Things change for Sam, however, with the arrival of Micah (Anthony Makie), who's traveled to Sam's compound in one of the few "safe zones" on the planet, to take her to the launch point of the last shuttle that will be taking survivors on Earth to IO.
