In an off-the-cuff, unscripted video, I discuss the current state of layoffs and what we can do to endure this problem. Writers, game devs, artists: We're all facing uncertainty, so how to you weather the storm?
I don't know, but I discuss my experience of being laid off more than a year ago and how I tried to weather the storm myself.
This is an old episode of I Just Wanna Talk To Friends, but since that podcast has been wiped from the Earth, it's now featured on the rebrand, Casual Yelling. This week, Matt Rehwoldt is on. You may remember him as Aiden English on WWE. We both went to the same college, but my graduation speaker was much radder than his.

The Disney movie Blank Check is a fun '90s movie about a boy who gets $1 million. At least, that's what we thought watching the movie as kids. 30 years later, Chris Hayner and AEW's Serpentico look back at the movie, and they find out that it's a bit horrifying. Blank Check is filled with some pretty messed up stuff.

Throughout many years as an entertainment journalist, Mat Elfring has done plenty of interviews with people from all walks of life, including actors, producers, directors, writers, and many times, professional wrestlers. Casual Yelling takes away the aspect of formulaic interviews in order to have a casual conversation with someone from a particular field. New episodes land on Tuesdays on the podcast platform of your choice.
